On paper, the 2023 Ford Ranger's specs and features make it a strong contender in the pickup market. Biggest Upgrades from the Previous Year 

Many visual upgrades have been made to the 2023 Ranger, giving it a more modern look. Currently, it has a more assertive front fascia that is visually identical to the F-150's and a chrome grille that gives it an upscale appearance, thanks to its twin chrome bars. Plus, new LED headlights give it a rugged design. 

The bed and its contents are better protected than ever with a plastic-moulded liner. Other upgrades include a wider track and longer wheelbase. The truck's exterior was outfitted with zone lighting to increase safety, and the bed was fitted with load box lighting.

For 2023, Ford will offer three different Ranger trims -- the XL, the XLT, and the Lariat -- all of which can be had in a super crew/Supercab body style and with four-wheel drive. The most up-to-date safety features, air conditioning, and a massive 10.1-inch infotainment display will all come standard in every 2023 Ford Ranger cabin. Upscale models will come standard with dual-zone climate control and other conveniences.
